This explains what the BrawlMC Minecraft server and brawlmc.net store about you, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: we keep what we need to run the game and keep it fair, and we never sell your data.
When you play on the server
- Your Minecraft UUID and username. They identify your account for stats, progress and moderation.
- Gameplay data: match results, kills, wins and other stats, your level, coins, cosmetics, battle pass progress, achievements, friends and party lists, and your settings.
- Chat messages and commands. They are recorded in server logs so staff can act on reports and rule breaks. Reports, warnings, mutes and bans are kept in a moderation history.
- Your IP address. It appears in server logs when you connect. We use it to enforce bans, stop abuse and protect the server.
When you buy something
Payments are processed by our store provider. We receive your username, what you bought and a transaction ID so we can deliver it. We never see or store your card or bank details.
When you visit brawlmc.net
- The website has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no ads.
- It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
- Player heads are loaded from mc-heads.net, and the live player count from api.mcsrvstat.us, so your browser connects to those services too.
What is public
Your username, skin, stats, match history and leaderboard positions are shown in-game and on brawlmc.net. Moderation history, chat logs, IP addresses and purchases are never public.
Why we use it
To run matches and save your progress, show stats and leaderboards, deliver purchases, answer support requests, and keep the server fair and safe.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help run BrawlMC (our server host, Cloudflare and the store provider), and authorities if the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
Gameplay data is kept while the server runs, or until you ask us to delete it. Server logs are deleted regularly. Moderation records are kept as long as needed to enforce bans.
Your choices
Email [email protected] from any address, with your Minecraft username, to ask for a copy of your data or to have it deleted. We keep the minimum needed to enforce an active ban, and purchase records we're required to keep.
Children
BrawlMC is open to players of all ages. We only collect what's listed above, nothing like real names or home addresses. Players under 13 (or the age of digital consent where they live) should have a parent's permission. A parent can ask us to delete their child's data at the address above.
Changes
We'll update this page if what we collect changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
